We love and appreciate our clients, and want to do whatever we can within reason to ensure a great session and fabulous images. You assistance with following the payment policies will greatly assist us with that. Thank you!
PRICING AND PAYMENTS:
All Sessions must be paid in full, prior to the session date. Failure to pay the invoice or make payment arrangements within 2 weeks of your session may result in forfeiture of your session slot. All prices are subject to change without notice. Contract prices will not be changed upon signing of contractual agreement(s). No products will be delivered until the entire amount is paid in full. Acceptable payment methods include cash, check, debit or credit card with payments made payable to JoLee Art and Photography. Returned checks are subject to a returned check fee. If you have received a courtesy discount prior to your session, you forfeit the right to any future discounts or special services. All discounted and pre-negotiated reduced session fees are final sale. No additional discounts or refunds or guarantees will be offered.
It is the responsibility of the client to pay the invoice in a timely manner. If, for whatever reason, you do not receive the invoice, it is the responsibility of the client to alert the studio so that any misinformation can be corrected and the invoice sent to the proper place.
No images will be given to the client prior to payment. Thank you for understanding.
BOOKING POLICY: JoLee Art and Photography's total portrait session fee includes a non-refundable payment of 100% of the total portrait session fee and must be paid in conjunction with signing of a contractual agreement. A portrait session date will not be reserved until both items are completed. The Client agrees that this non-refundable payment is earned by the Photographer when paid, and is remitted in consideration of the experience, reputation, skill of the Photographer, and in consideration of the inability of the Photographer to schedule other clients during this time.
RESCHEDULING AND LATE ARRIVALS: If Client requests to reschedule a photographic portrait session, Photographer may apply the initial payment to a rescheduled session if notice is given at least seven (7) days prior to the scheduled portrait session. The rescheduled session must take place within six (6) calendar months. Any Client that arrives late to the session will have the amount of time late deducted from the time allotted for the portrait session. Photographer will not provide a partial refund or other compensation for the time deducted from the portrait session due to late arrival of the Client. If weather conditions are not desirable for the portrait session based on Photographer recommendations, the portrait session will need to be rescheduled and the portrait session fee will be transferred to rescheduled portrait session date. Due to liability and equipment damages, this decision will be at Photographer’s discretion.
CANCELLATION: If the Client requests to alter or cancel seven (7) or more calendar days before the agreed upon photographic event date, the initial nonrefundable payment will be applied to a mutually agreed upon reschedule date. If the Client fails to show or cancels seven (7) or less calendar days before the agreed upon photographic event date, the initial non-refundable payment will be forfeited.
LOCATION AND TRAVEL: The photographic session will be at JoLee Art & Photography’s Studio located in Jensen Beach, FL. If Client specifies a certain location to be used during the portrait session, the Client is responsible for all location fees involved such as location access fees, parking, and other expenditures directly required for fulfillment of this Agreement.
COOPERATION: Photographer is not responsible for behavior of parties involved with the shoot, except for Photographer’s personnel. If the desired outcome of your portrait session is jeopardized by the behaviors of parties involved except for Photographer’s personnel, Photographer cannot be held responsible. The Client will assist and cooperate with the Photographer in obtaining the desired photographs, including but not limited to specifying persons and/or scenes to be photographed; taking time to pose for photographs at the Photographer's direction; providing a person to guide the Photographer to desired persons and/or scenes; pre-shoot consultations and questionnaires, etc. The Photographer will not be responsible for photographs not taken as a result of the Client's failure to provide reasonable assistance or cooperation.
PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEOGRAPHY: The Client will not engage in photography or videography during the photographic session unless otherwise agreed to by the Photographer. Engaging in this behavior entitles the Photographer to end the portrait session without refund or reschedule available to Client.
COMPLETION SCHEDULE: All photographic portrait session proofs will be processed and available for delivery and viewing between six (6) and eight (8) weeks from the event date. Completion schedules and delivery of products will be determined by the Photographer. Third-party manufacturing laboratories and partners are utilized for products and may provide restrictions on an order not outlined in this Agreement.
PHOTOGRAPHIC MATERIALS AND ARTISTIC RIGHTS: All photographic materials, including but not limited to negatives, transparencies, proofs, and previews, will be the exclusive property of the Photographer. The Photographer retains the right of discretion in selecting the photographic materials released to the Client. The Client will receive proofed prints and an accompanying online viewing and ordering gallery to select from and will not receive any photographic materials not presented to the Client. The Photographer also retains the right to adjust the photographs in post-processing as the Photographer deems within their creative control. Additional processing may be requested beginning at $25.00 per image (i.e. braces removal, airbrushed skin, flyaway hairs, etc.). More advanced and artistic edits are available for $75-300/image.
COPYRIGHT AND REPRODUCTIONS: The Photographer shall retain copyright ownership of all works created during portrait sessions, including but not limited to all images in their original and processed formats. It is understood that any duplication or alteration of original images is strictly prohibited {Copyright Law Title 17, Appendix V. Additional Provisions of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act 2005, Section 102} without the written permission of the Photographer. Alterations include, but are not limited to, application of filters, cropping, or modifications of any kind.
CLIENT USAGE: The Client shall only use the photographic prints, including digital files, in accordance with the permissions within portrait session agreements. The Client’s prints are for personal use only and shall not be submitted to contests or reproduced for commercial use. The Client shall not make, or provide authorization to a third-party to make, reproductions of works resulting from portrait sessions without express permission of the Photographer. Additional prints and/or digital files may be purchased between third parties and the Photographer with the permission of the Client. Accordingly, if the Photographer provides a digital file print release, the Client must act in accordance with the release.
SOCIAL MEDIA: The Client may share web/blog post links and social media albums through use of the share functions and dissemination of direct links. The Client shall not copy, download, screen shot, or capture the photographs in any other fashion. The Client shall identify JoLee Art and Photography in the caption of all photographs uploaded to social media websites and profiles.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS AND RESTRICTIONS: The Client understands that when sharing Photographer’s portraits online via personal website, Facebook, Instagram or any other social media platforms that Clients must include JoLee Art & Photography’s watermark. The Client agrees that images will not be edited in any way including removing the watermark, cropping the image, adding filters or any other creative alternations. The Client should also include JoLee Art & Photography in the social media platform tags when available.
COMMERCIAL AND PROFESSIONAL CLIENTS: Session fees are due upon booking. As a courtesy, the invoice may be held until the day of the session. The invoice must be paid prior to services being rendered. Failure to do so may result in administrative fees of up to 10% of your total invoice.
PURCHASING PRINTS, DIGITAL NEGATIVES, AND OTHER PACKAGES :
A viewing session will be scheduled for you after your initial session for you to preview your images and make any purchases. Please be prepared to make any purchasing decisions at this time. Images not purchased will not be held beyond 4 weeks from the their initial viewing session. Failure to make buying decisions at that time may result in the loss of your images. Images will be only be held by request for clients who have purchased images from the same session time. Once a package has been selected and the images purchased, the sale is final. If for any reason the client in unsatisfied with the finished image, they may request additional edits. The fees for the edits may be discussed at that time with the photographer and are at the photographer’s discretion.
ETIQUETTE: Please arrive on time.
Please do not arrive prior to your allotted time. If you arrive early, please feel free to utilize the outdoor benches until your scheduled time.
Please do not allow children or pets to explore the studio. Please do not attempt to use cell phones, screenshot, photograph or video without express permission from the photographer. At your viewing session, please be prepared to make any purchasing sessions at that time.

Disclaimers and Policies
- Sessions are available at a first come, first serve basis.
- Session fees must be paid in advance to hold your spot. Failure to pay may result in loss of your session place.
- Failure to show: if you fail to show for your session or reschedule 7 business days prior to your session time, you forfeit your deposit and payment.
- If the clients needs to reschedule due to health or emergency, past the 7 day mark or within 48 hours prior to the session, sessions may be rescheduled without loss at the photographer’s discretion.
- The studio does not offer refunds for any reason. Please review examples of our work prior to booking, schedule a free consultation to get to know your photographer, and proceed only if you are comfortable. Once you book, and pay your session fee or deposit, there are no refunds. This is to cover our time and cost in preparing for you and planning your session.
- Reshoots: If, for whatever reason the client is unsatisfied with the results of their session, and are unable to find any satisfactory images resulting from it, a re-planning and re-shoot may be scheduled. No refunds will be given.
- No outside cameras or recording devices are not allowed in the studio or on location. Filming, photographing the set or the photographer without express written consent prior to the session may result in expulsion and cancellation of the session without refund.
- Please arrive on time. On occasion, when possible (Mini session are the exception) we offer a 15 minute grace period. 20 minutes past the agreed upon session time and the session is forfeited without refund.
- All images taken by JoLee Art & Photography are property of the studio and the photographer. Copyright remains with the photographer. Use of images without the appropriate purchase may violate this copyright. Please contact the studio with questions, we are happy to assist you.
- In order to ensure a timely turnaround, we offer the clients the opportunity to select their favorite images from the unedited images after the session. This is typically offered in studio or as a courtesy to commercial clients via online gallery. These are not the final images, but a preview. This is an opportunity for you to have a say in which images are edited, and how they are edited. These images will be raw, and unpolished. Please understand that this is a service to our clients. If you do not want this service, and you would prefer to only see edited images, please inform your photographer in advance. Turnaround time for edited images is 2-4 weeks. 10 images will be selected for editing per hour shot. Additional images may be edited prior to purchase at $25/image. Editing will done at the photographer's discretion and preference prior to client viewing. After viewing, the client may order additional edits at $75-300 per image.
- Edits and additional edits will only be performed after payment. There are no refunds on edited images.
- JoLee Art and Photography is proud to provide exceptional service and quality work. We love and appreciate our clients and will typically go above and beyond to serve them. Please review our policies prior to your session, ask questions and give us the opportunity to make this a great session for you.
- This is a professional environment. We aim to treat each client with the utmost care and service. Please refrain from cell phone use, loud conversations, and disruptive behavior while in the studio so as not to interrupt the photographer’s process and potentially prohibit our efforts to serve our clients to the best of our abilities.
- If at any point the photographer feels that the client may not be good fit for the studio, or vice versa, we will make the appropriate arrangements and offer you referrals to pre-screened quality photographers and other studios who might work better. We appreciate your business and support.
