Time to say goodbye
Goodbye, Treasure Coast. Thank You for Everything.
After years of creating inside my studio space here on the Treasure Coast, I am preparing to close that chapter.
In July, I will be closing my physical studio.
It is bittersweet, of course. This space has held so much. Beautiful portraits. Nervous first moments. Tears. Laughter. Women seeing themselves differently. Mothers with their children. Artists, business owners, families, seniors, dreamers, leaders and people brave enough to step in front of my camera and trust me with something personal.
This studio became more than a place to take photographs. It became a place where stories were honored.
And I am so deeply grateful.
But I have known for a while that my work is changing. My life is changing. My vision is expanding beyond four walls.
Over the next six months, my family and I are preparing for a major move to Europe. As that transition unfolds, JoLee Art & Photography is also stepping into its next evolution.
I am becoming a luxury mobile photographer, traveling for clients who want an elevated, deeply personal, editorial portrait experience wherever they are.
That may be in a private home, a beautiful estate, a meaningful location, a brand space, a destination retreat, a historic village, a castle in France, a countryside villa, a city street, or wherever the story needs to be told.
The studio is closing, but the work is not ending.
It is becoming freer.
More intentional.
More personal.
More aligned with the kind of artist I am becoming.
For years, I have created work about legacy, womanhood, motherhood, beauty, strength, identity and the stories we carry. That work does not require one permanent address. It requires vision. It requires connection. It requires the ability to walk into a space, see what is possible and create something beautiful from it.
That is what I do.
So while I am saying goodbye to my Treasure Coast studio, I am not saying goodbye to my clients here. I will still be taking select sessions as I transition, and I will continue to return for the right projects, clients and artistic work.
But going forward, the experience will be more curated, more limited and more destination-based.
This next season is for the clients who want something beyond a standard photo session.
It is for the woman who wants to be photographed in a way that feels cinematic, powerful and true.
It is for the business owner who wants imagery that feels elevated and polished, not generic.
It is for the family who wants something meaningful, beautiful and worthy of becoming part of their story.
It is for the client who understands that photography can be more than documentation.
It can be art.
To the Treasure Coast, thank you.
Thank you for giving me a place to grow, build, fail, rebuild, dream, create and become. Thank you to every client who trusted me, every woman who sat in front of my lens, every family who let me preserve a piece of their life and every person who supported my work along the way.
This studio was one chapter.
A beautiful one.
Now, it is time for the next.
JoLee Art & Photography is becoming international, mobile and based in Europe.
And I cannot wait to create what comes next.
